Yogāsanas
YOGA is so much more than the business it has become today.
What we know today as “Yoga” refers more specifically to Yoga Āsanas, or yogic postures. However, this practice only represents one of the eight aspects of true Yoga philosophy. Traditionally, the goal of these postures is to prepare the body for meditation, but they also hold tremendous benefits for our psycho-physiological system.
Pranayāmas
Practiced together with the āsanas, pranayāmas or “method to master prana”, are breath techniques practiced to bring balance back to body and mind. Through different breath exercises, it is possible to affect the flow of energy within the body - prana - and either calm or re-energize the brain and overall nervous system.
➣ These practices are excellent to regulate the nervous system, tone the body, achieve greater flexibility, and feel greater calm and ease in your everyday life.
